Connecting to a Shared Printer on Windows

Go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Devices and Printers

Devices and Printers

Click Add a printer, then choose Add a local printer, and click Next

Add Printer

Select Create a new port, choose Local Port, and click Next

Create New Port

Enter the share name in the following format:

\\TSMB_SERVER_IP_ADDRESS\NETNAME

Example:

\\172.10.12.10\MyPrinter

Enter port name

Select the appropriate driver and click Next. The printer is now added.
